Blackmail Pics

Well, the final days of pregnancy must make one weak mentally, because Anne has finally succumbed (again) to requests for a few final photos before the chance slips away. We go in to be induced on Tuesday at 6am, if nothing has happened yet. Which means that Monday night will find us camped out in Miles City, rather than trying to wake up at o'dark thirty and running down there on "The Day." After going off meds early this morning, not a ton is happening here yet other than the occasional random contraction (which is old hat to us by now)....not for lack of trying either. Anne feels pretty darned great after finally giving up on the "no physical activity of massive proportions" clause...since the doc is pretty open to seeing us prior to "The Day." Hence, we unloaded a short truck (ie. several ton gas truck with sideracks) of wood and stacked it all. Then we went on a walk this evening to try to signal Mini that "Now is the time for action." The pictures were selected by their ability to show the massive proportions right now, rather than shots worthy of a Covergirl magazine shoot. Aka, the prego lady doesn't look the greatest but at this point isn't quite so worried about it (or her pride either). Apologies to anyone scandalized by the full tummy view! :)

  3. Anne, those photos are shocking and amazing! How do you keep from falling forward?!? Your back is going to feel WONDERFUL in a few days...other parts may not, but you can focus on the positive! *grin* I look forward to seeing pics of baby OUTSIDE the belly -- may your labor be quick and easy and healthy!

Also, you are a beautiful pregnant lady -- lucky girl!

  6. You look awesome...I hope to look half that great when it's my turn! Good luck on the last week - my best friend just had her son yesterday (her due date was the 25th), so the light is definitely at the end of the tunnel for you as well, Anne!!

  7. You look great and you're going to do great! I know these last few days/hours are frustrating, but hang in there...I never believed the old cliche that it is worth it in the end, but it really is!

For anyone checking the blog for an update, I spoke with Anne this morning and Mini Miller is still staying put right where she is, but they are walking diligently to change that!

My heart and my thoughts are with you Anne Lark...I can't wait to meet my new niece!

  8. That's definitely qualifying as PDP. I commented on Mandy's blog, but wanted to toss in my good luck wishes, too, I figure you can use all the positive energy we can spare to make this as painless as possible! Hang in there, we look forward to the baby announcement. :o)
