Induction + 12 hours

Ok faithful followers or the frantic Anne program.....
At this point there is still not a Mini Miller.....
Currently Anne is peacefully sleeping. She started to have a miserable headache, so to get rid of it and let her relax, she was given a pain reliever.
Her contractions are still very good, short intervals and great bell curves.. The sleep seems to have relaxed her and thinks are progressing nicely.......
She will be checked before 7 pm to determine if she has dilated. At the last check just prior to the pain killer she was at 3 cm and 90% effaced. Mini's head was in place and the nurse was very pleased the the position....
It would appear things are settling into place and in the near future Mini should join the world outside.
Thanks for your thoughts,
We will continue to keep things updated..

  1. Great news! I know that the pain medication (i.e. epidural in my case) really helped me relax and I dilated so much faster after that. You are getting closer and I'm so glad to hear that Anne is resting (hopefully Dad can sneak in a nap, too)! Here's hoping for a birthday of 9-23. All our love!

  2. Bookclub girls are waiting with baited breath! (Okay, maybe chocolated breath, but you get the picture....) Beth called to make sure the ham was ordered and the chocolate silk pie was arranged for. We're so excited!!!

We check for updates about every 15 minutes. Wayland has some really un-helpful comments that have been edited out of these posted...most of them for Eric.

Good job on the pain meds; they are a gift from God.

  3. I am so glad Anne is getting a much needed break! The faithful Extension folk are definitely trying to keep tabs on the Mini-Miller appearance!
Stay with the beautiful Mommy and help her all you can.
    All my love!

  4. I also took a little nap before the entrance of Ben... Scott ate and ate... I slept and slept and dilated and dilated. Be ready to pull out your best coaching techniques Eric, as Scott's encouragement was what kept me going! I'm so excited for you two!!

  6. Glad to hear things are progressing. I keep checking on the progress every so often. It is good to hear Anne is resting as it sounds things are going to get crazy before long. Eric you should rest to. Thinking of you all.

  7. Baking brownies and thinking of you, Anne (I ran out of fingernails to bite, so I had to resort to baking)! Eric will appreciate that we are also watching on the Chelsea-Man U game on Tivo to keep us distracted. Hopefully you are either still sleeping or getting ready to start pushing!

We promise to eat a brownie for both of you to help you keep your strength up. ;o)
