We hate to say this, but we're not talking about Gwen's dirty diapers and, in this case, we really, REALLY wish we were! Here's a step-by-step rundown on how to promote use of any product from the Yankee Candle Company.
Step 1) Notice puppy is outside, barking and growling fiercely.
Step 2) Use spotlight to try and see what has her so excited next to the house.
Step 3) Grab gun after seeing black with white stripe and realizing it is NOT the cat
Step 4) Send shot in air to get attention of dog
Step 5) Send dog inside house to a very surprised wife while husband "finishes off" Skunky.
Step 6) Send dog outside house to a very surprised husband who didn't realize how much the much-loved-until-this-pt pup got sprayed.
Step 7) Feel happy that infamous skunk lurking for the last month is gone, sad that we don't have colds and/or more candles!
What? No pictures?
ReplyDeleteWe had a skunking last night, too, but Wayland didn't get it because he had taken his shotgun apart to modify it! So I guess we were REALLY skunked.
Maybe Molly and Pippin and Bree can hang out together, with their smelly little selves, and chat about their adventures.
tomato juice - wash the dog and anything else that got sprayed in tomato juice. IT will take the stink away. Best of luck.
ReplyDeleteI will tell you that we live in "The stink factory" and know exactly what you are going thru. If you use a lot of baking soda, a bit of hand soap and some water it will take the smell away. This may be a process of like three times washing and showering for person performing the process but it will work.
ReplyDeleteThe BEST thing that I have found to remove the smell from animals and humans is T-Gel Shampoo (just wish I had invested in that company). Good luck I know what you are going thru right now.
