Planting Bulbs

This year, Eric made Anne promise (P-R-O-M-I-S-E) to get all the bulbs purchased and stored at the Miller house in the ground BEFORE she bought more (instead of lotto tickets, this girl buys flowers, occasionally with the same no-win results too). Admittedly, the fetish had gotten out of control in past years, with Anne cheerfully hoping snow and ice would melt in December so she could just get that last bunch in. This year was different, with a little helper to plant and husband Eric and good friend Mark on hand to help the preggie lady dig and fill holes.

  2. You're just building your legacy as Garfield County's Crazy Bulb Lady. It takes time to create that notoriety, and you're off to a nice start! Don't let anyone discourage you from following your dreams.

(I had been wondering, actually, about the bulbs, because I hadn't heard anything yet this year! Usually, there are a couple phone calls where we justify bulb purchases, by cutting back on grocery money and clothing for the children. Apparently you built that contingency into this year's budget...smart girl!)
